Dorothy C. Pfaff has been through many metamorphoses as both an Artist and a person. Growing up in the Chicago area, she moved to Atlanta by the time she was 24, never to return (except for visits). Before this she had become part of the Graphic Arts World while still a student at College.

While in her late teens and early twenties, she had become very influenced by the late 1800s in general and in Aubrey Beardsley in especial for artist technique and style. Even today that influence still shows in her pen and ink. With a love of history and the spiritual, Dorothy's work began to reflect that era not only in style, but in thought as well. The late 1800s was a time of much mysticism, occult and magick, impacting Dorothy on many levels.

For several years Dorothy remained part of the Graphic's World, but not truly a creative part. It was only her departure from that world for 7+ years as a specialized Cake Decorator that she realized herself as an Artist in truth and honestly gave herself permission to be that.

Once again Dorothy found herself back in the Graphics World where she quickly became the Illustrator for the Aquarius Newspaper of Atlanta, eventually creating their Website and for a time being the Newspaper's Designer. After ten years she decided to take her work out on its own to try her wings in a bigger arena.

Most of her current work displayed is of pieces she did for Aquarius and reflect the New Age subjects of articles and sometimes products. She is most fond of her many Astrology works as well as a series for the Chinese version. She intends to do some colorized versions of her works as well as begin new pieces that will reflect her more personal mindset.

Dorothy currently resides in the country, north of Atlanta with her husband and mate of over 20 years. They are loved and love their cats and dogs and the many trees that surround them on their property. Their property is also very Eldritch touched, giving a wonderful sense of healing to all who may come there.
